Anxiety Therapy · Austin, Texas & Statewide Virtual
You've built a life
that looks great
from the outside.
Inside, you're exhausted. You can't turn your brain off. You've achieved everything you were supposed to — and somehow it still doesn't feel like enough. That constant hum of anxiety isn't a flaw. But you don't have to live with it forever.
Anxiety looks different in high-achieving women.
It often doesn't look like panic attacks or obvious distress. It looks like perfectionism, people-pleasing, chronic busyness, and an inability to just be. I work with the whole picture — not just the symptoms.
Perfectionism & fear of failure
The relentless drive to get it right — and what happens to your nervous system when you can't.
Imposter syndrome
Feeling like you're one misstep away from being "found out," no matter what you've accomplished.
People-pleasing & difficulty setting limits
Saying yes when you mean no, and the exhaustion of constantly managing how others feel about you.
Burnout & the cost of overachieving
What it costs to perform at that level for that long — and how to actually recover from it.
Relational anxiety
Anxiety that lives in your relationships — over-explaining, over-apologizing, bracing for abandonment or conflict.
My approach isn't about managing your anxiety.
A lot of therapy stops at teaching you how to cope — breathing exercises, thought logs, grounding techniques. Those tools have their place, but I'm interested in going deeper than that.
I work psychodynamically, which means we look at the patterns underneath the anxiety. Where did this come from? What is it protecting you from? What does it mean about how you learned to move through the world?
I also draw from AEDP and NARM — experiential approaches that help us work with your nervous system in real time, not just talk about it. This is depth-oriented, relational work. We get to the root.
I work exclusively with women — all across Texas, virtually.
My practice is fully online. Whether you're in Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or anywhere else in Texas, we can work together. No commute, no waiting rooms — just focused, real therapeutic work from wherever you are.
Professionals & executives
Women in demanding careers who are succeeding on paper and silently running on empty.
Grad students & early-career women
Navigating high-stakes environments, comparison culture, and the pressure to figure it all out.
Women in transition
Anxiety that spikes around big changes — new roles, new cities, new relationships, new chapters.
Things women ask me before we start.
How is this different from CBT or other anxiety treatment I've tried?
Most anxiety treatment focuses on managing symptoms — changing the thoughts, calming the body. I do that work too, but I'm also interested in the deeper patterns: where your anxiety comes from, what it's organized around, what it's been trying to tell you. If you've done CBT and still feel stuck, depth-oriented work might be exactly what's been missing.
I'm not sure my anxiety is "bad enough" for therapy. Is that a reason not to come?
No. The women I work with are often highly functional — they're showing up, achieving, keeping it together. The fact that it doesn't look severe from the outside doesn't mean it isn't costing you something real. You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support.
Do you offer online therapy in Texas?
Yes — my practice is fully virtual. I'm licensed in Texas and see clients all across the state, from Austin and Houston to Dallas, San Antonio, and everywhere in between. We meet over a secure video platform at a time that works for your schedule.
How long does therapy typically take?
It depends on what you're bringing and what you're working toward. Some women come for a focused period of several months; others find that longer-term work creates the depth of change they're looking for. We'll talk about this in our initial consultation and check in as we go.
Do you take insurance?
I'm a private-pay practice, which means I don't bill insurance directly. I can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, and I accept HSA and FSA. You can find full details on my Work With Me page.
You don't have to keep white-knuckling it.
If something on this page felt familiar, that's worth paying attention to. A free consultation is a low-pressure way to see if we're a good fit — no commitment required.
